Tired of Democrats and Republicans or in my case Liberals and Conservatives (Canadian political system)? How about Emocrains? Yes. Emocracy... That's right. Imagine a President going to work with an Ipod earbud hanging out of his ear with his laptop in hand, dressed casually but SMARTER than 99% of the population. Today on this blog I start a new party called the E-Mocracy party. This is a party that uses cool technology to provide solutions to complicated problems. I'm tired of seeing the old geezers in power who don't even know how to use the internet! For example. In Canada there was a huge conference over on the East Coast on how to stop global warming. So they planted 900 trees to offset the carbon emissions from all the CO2 they emitted. HAVE THEY HEARD OF THE INTERNET? VIDEO CONFERENCE CALL? Hmmm.... I know. These old guys haven't heard of Skype, MSN Chat or anything else for that matter. Sheesh, even if they just set up some simple crappy PHP forum software that would reduce the amount of carbon emissions. Basically they could just sit at home and video conference call to discuss matters in the emocratic way. Anyway it's simple solutions like this that WE ALL know about but these OLD dudes don't have a clue about! We are up and coming and technology is the tool of choice and so it should be in the political circles as well. It's like our goverments are written in COBOL. I suggest we upgrade to at least VB 4.0.
